I have not forgotten, MarPep. Still saddens me that some people continue to side with the murderers.

FBI agent has been indicted for lying. They fired two rounds at Lavoy before he reached into his jacket
[cbsnews.com]

That's obviously why he was instinctively reaching to where they shot him....where the pain was.

Lavoy Finicum was not murdered, it was how you eloquently put it on one of my recent posts... suicide by cop. This article explained it well- [bearingarms.com]

That is one instance where I agree with the actions of law enforcement.

He was giving himself up and separating from the others in the truck. All his alleged accomplices were found innocent of crime. They had him front back and side, and had shot multiple times into their truck--even when it had plowed into the snowbank in the set-up road block. He had no reason to commit suicide, but he knew being a martyr to show the excesses of the Feds might be necessary. Whether he was reaching for a weapon in his coat to give it up or to be shot by overwhelming force--we will never get his side of that story. Lavoy was a Hero.

@MarPep He did nothing heroic that I saw, and as for being a martyr, we need as many patriots alive as possible in which to stand up to tyranny. If he truly did sacrifice himself as you had suggested, that was truly foolish then, it didn't have to end that way...

@MarPep Indeed, LaVoy is a hero. Still sickens me that our "government" murdered him!

@SpikeTalon He was trying to confirm that the BLM and feds were overstepping the law. He and his friends had occupied that little visitor center in the middle of nowhere during winter for several days. They had a date with, and were travelling to, the court to hear the case, but were shot at and eventually forced off the road into a snowbank by a roadblock. After the truck was stopped, the agents were still firing into the cab--which 4 people, including two women, were occupying. Lavoy knew the FBI intended to kill him. So he got out of the Truck, went about 20 feet in the deep snow away so that if they shot at him, the folks in the cab would not be hit by accident. He had his hands raised--the FBI still shot at him with his hands raised. Whether he was reaching toward where he was hit, or wanting to throw down his sidearm--or even return fire--we will never know . He most certainly was a hero.
