I never thought the day would come when universities would be the pulpits from which violence is preached.

Professor Billie Murray justifies ANTIFA violence as a legit form of "activism" at a university. She will give a talk at Villanova University, in which she will "re-imagine" activism as "combative". She promises to question the violence/non-violence binary. LOL. "She’d never engage in violence but won’t deny it to others."

Professor Murray is being given a PLATFORM at a university for declaring, in her "scholarly work", that violence can legitimately be used against whomever is deemed a "white supremacist".

That's exactly the sort of thing that the Brown Shirts did, didn't they? Let's call it what it is: terrorism. This level of intolerance is being condoned at universities, centres of learning.

In the meantime, universities de-platform people like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson.

What a topsy-turvy world!

It's really not surprising. The surprising part is that we are allowing this to happen. I don't understand why we aren't rioting in the streets under the obvious chemtrails that we're all being drowned in.

We need to grow a spine.

A great calamity awaits the human race

What did you expect from the liberal progressives in the Catholic University? This is the application of revolutionary theology, doesn't surprise me a bit. The church has become aligned with those who claim that any alinement with any institutional structure is contrary to human freedom. Except that is what keeps us from killing each other.

Interesting point! I was just reading earlier today about the American Catholic church's historical role in drumming support for the Democrats, particularly when it comes to the hierarchy of clergy.

Yes, crazy world, I love free speech but this seems to fly in the face of the deplatforming, and canceling speeches from pro life conservatives
So strange. I'd probably go, just to see what is being said, maybe it will be on YouTube? Oh wait, they don't like hate speech right? Hmmm

Sure! I'd probably go, too, but, man! If that's not incitement to violence, I don't know what is.

They're trying to provoke a violent response IMHO. Hoping to trigger some "gun nut" into action to gain support for disarmament.

My $.02 (sometimes not even worth a penny)

You're on to something. It does sound more like a provocative move than a genuine argument.

The Left has been given control of most major Universities over the past 60 years. And now the Left is violent and unwilling to discuss issues peacefully--this will not end well.

It's almost like "universities" are providing an ideological cover for the same civil war that they claim they're trying to prevent.
