This is an interesting read... sounds a lot like our own "Cutter Incident"... And I believe I read somewhere there is 118 confirmed cases of "Polio like paralysis" happening in the US, I think that number was for 2018 though... Have to go back and look (may take a while)...

People with the vaccine virus defecate and the 30% of the population that isn't vaccinated come in contact with the virus due to poor sanitation.
Missing 30% of the population with a vaccine is pretty bad. Poor sanitation is bad. Eliminating the polio virus with vaccinations is good.

@Guido_Provolone Real bad

@Kristen This is a learning lesson for me. The sources I see are very careful to label the virus as either wild or vaccine derived so I don't follow that this is being misconstrued. I've never enjoyed waiting for water from a filter, but I am fairly impatient. They just came out with new guidelines for vaccinating people with kidney disease (the medical system is working).

I've had the measles (allergic to the old vaccine). I would never want that for either of my kids. Vaccines are a gift. On the non-vaccine side is a very real chance of getting sick and disabled versus a very small nonzero chance of getting sick and disabled.
