I watched the Slavoj Zizek vs Jordan Peterson debate and was disappointed with it. I was not sure what to expect, but after watching it, I felt that I just wasted 2.5 hours of my time. Did I miss something? Or did others feeling the same way that I did?

I think Peterson was thrown off by Zizek's agreeableness. It's like that feeling when someone from the left agrees about ANYTHING someone on the non-left says. You're not sure what to do with that. My view was Zizek basically said, yeah, you're right. He just burned up all of the oxygen for the fire.

I hear that both sides made their points. Wonderful, so the intellectual debate is about scoring points? I can't see spending over two hours listening to this fake debate. Sorry Dr Peterson, it was a waste of your time and a disservice to the world.

I bet. There ought to be a law that kindergarteners start learning about communism so when they are grown ups they aren't wasting 2.5 hours listening to someone defending that crap.
