Since Google is ally of CCP, why in the world would anyone use it? Go with DuckDuckGo at the least.

There are problems with many search engines. DuckDuck has back end agreements with Microsoft and Amazon Web Services, looks to me like a honeypot. I use Startpage which seems like a better bet and is based in the Netherlands. For more varied search results ZapMeta may suffice. Can't assume that anything is secure.

@athro I agree, to a point. All such wads of code have problems but that does not justify using one with a known link to an organization that wants you dead. Or enslaved.
Walk away.
