Right. It is a sad thing that we can rarely have any reasonable expectation that people will be held accountable if they are Democrats or if they serve the Democrat agenda in some way.

while I agree with your comment it must be pointed out that there is a gaping lack of accountability in the Republican party as well as the Democrats.
@iThink To be sure, there have been some high placed Republicans whose dealings seemed to have gone unchallenged (e.g., Mitch McConnell). But there have been many Republicans who have been wrongly jailed or whose lives have been wrongly destroyed by the Democrat run IRS or DOJ, while virtually no Democrats have been legitimately held accountable for anything. So, yes, you can find the odd Republican who has gotten away with potential crimes, but, on the whole, there is a recognizable and blatant double-standard at work.
@KeithThroop true and the leftist propaganda machine (aka news media) is largely responsible for that.
