And it is inevitable when the public is so accustomed to their rights being preserved that they no longer realize that they must continue to defend them. Most Americans I know claim to be "a-political" and can't be bothered. That means no one is watching the fox near the henhouse.

Now Americans are angry that things are so screwed up, as if it had nothing to do with them. It is due to American apathy that our Republic may not make it into the 2030s.

@TimTuolomne Same here, most had the 'Why worry about it, it's not like we can do anything to change it." They were too busy to be bothered but I'm afraid the a-political will learn the hard way.
