Ron Paul reposted this 2017 interview with Edward Snowden. I had forgotten much of this, including how level-headed and well-spoken Snowden is. Short of cutting the budgets of intel agencies by about 90%, we really have no hope of stuffing the jack back inside the box.

Just like NATO, their purpose is ended and now they need to create a reason for being. Sadly, they are fraternizing with the enemies of the nations they swear to defend.
Snowden is a defender of the Constitution of the United States against domestic enemies who have infiltrated the government. It's sad that Trump is the only president since Ike to do more in support of the US Constitution than Putin did when he welcomed Snowden.
