I’m not sure that Peterson having “Hundreds of Follow … errr … Supporters” will be considered beneficial for his case.
Those who are prosecuting him can easily misconstrue them as “Followers” and therefore try to cast him as the Leader of a Cult …

They would be correct. He is an MKULTRA programmer trying to distract people from the victims protesting against McGill for its participation in that CIA program .
