The current US government debt is about 30 trillion dollars, or about $100,000 of debt for every man, woman and child in the US.

30 trillion is enough to destroy the US economy in a couple of decades. Give away 5 million more per person and it jumps to $180 trillion. The US wouldn't make it 5 years with that kind of debt. Meaning the US dollar would be completely worthless and EVERY American starving and without housing.

The 5 million each person got would be most valuable as something to burn in a fire for heat, if anyone still has it. Otherwise it will be just a bad memory.
