Geez. I've been feeling the weight of the world and its slow (and inevitable, some would say) descent into squalling chaos more than usual, today, all day. Feeling dejected and hating myself a bit more than usual as I look at myself and am displeased with just myself in general. Not that any of y'all give a damn, more than likely. But even my usual method of chasing the blues away with music isn't helping the way it normally does.

Tell me, are we really destined to destroy everything we touch, including ourselves and each other? I'm really feeling that humans are no more than the greatest natural disaster to ever hit the Earth, and that most of them are no more than angry tribal monkeys at heart. Feeling that more than usual. Feeling down because of life in general; avoiding humans is my customary activity after work and when I'm not at work, because humans are just so damned unpredictable. But yet predictable as well in that violence seems to be a universal go to with both words and actions with humans. Sad, isn't it?

Sue me, I just had to get some stuff off my chest and out of my head. It will help keep me from going mad for one more day, I suppose, if nothing else.

Hi darlin’. I know the feeling. We all do. Which in some way is good because it means there’s hope. When monkeys with consciousness become aware of their potential for destruction they tend to change paths and improve. As I see it, the chaos is a combination of a toxic ideology (cultural Marxism) making societal inroads via social media and media in general. One of those things can be avoided- media. Did you see Dave Rubin’s show recently where he came back from 33 days of being off all media including his phone? He describes it as a throwback to life before all the chaos. Also remember that people aren’t the problems exactly. Ideas are. That’s because ideas live longer than people do. The question is, what ideas are we pushing forward in the short life that we live? My goal is to forward better ideas to counter the bad ones. Also, I thrive when I take breaks from media. remember what it’s like to feel dirt between your fingers and observe the clouds moving slowly above. I recommend it. ❤️ Love and peace to you.

Well said. I feel this way a lot of the time. I always tell my children to just keep going, no matter what. No matter how bad things seem. So I try to take my own advice......and I just keep going.

Don't be Atlas, that guy was a moron.

If you want to feel good about yourself, go serve at a soup kitchen or something similar. You'll either feel bad about feeling bad for yourself or recognize that you can provide worth for others (maybe both).

Take a break from the News and social media for a week or so. They are both Debbie Downers and lead us to feeling powerless (we aren't).

Get a better perspective. The News sells us cheap negative emotions. Get the full story by listening to longer form interviews and reading books/articles that provide a broad overview - [humanprogress.org]

It is easy to feel this way since good news never greets us..the drive by media makes sure of it. If you take the time you will find that 90% of the human race is not ugly and hate filled, in essence they have not changed it is mostly liberal propaganda. They want you to feel horrible about this world so you will fall into their promise to make everything all better. If you want to feel better go to a park and watch kids play and laugh, find the good stories like the woman in the Bahamas with over 100 stay dogs in her home trying to keep them safe. There is so much good in this world but you now have to look for it. Don't give in to the propaganda God hadn't given up on the human race yet.

Don't feel too bad, all species seemingly work to dominate and conquer. We, do have the capability to learn and improve at a faster rate than most species. Don't give up, because we need intelligent people to make intelligent arguments and try to convince others of the truth. I admit I do not know for sure what the truth is, but I will argue my case and listen to those with whom I disagree and see if together we can find the best way forward. Nobody knows if we will find the right way forward but giving up is the worst way to help us all succeed

It is always darkest before the dawn, stick around and watch the sun rise. It will be worth it.

""Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthrew 11:28-30)
