Half the time, actually more often than not, I have no idea what's going on or what I'm meant to do or even what I'm doing when I do know what's meant to be done...
This world scares me, being alive scares me, not moving forward scares me, staying stuck scares me....
I don't even know where to put this post...

Such a cute post! My cute answer: Consider watching a few YouTube of how skydivers routinely prepare to jump. Consider watching Youtubes on a beginners’ flying lessons. For the scared ones in us, taking on one of these is right out. For me, I always wanted to fly, but I wanted to start with hang gliders. I also knew I could (and wanted to) learn it myself. The life lesson from all my years of aviation is understanding first, knowing how to crash properly. Life’s crashes do happen. Choosing to manage or avoid life’s ongoing crashes is not for everyone.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Paul Washer:
Means , come now quickly take my hand. Jesus is calling us because He loves us.

First, sit down and make a grateful list. List the people, experiences, and your talents that you are grateful for. Think about people and experience which have helped you get this far. Think about what you are good at, what you enjoy, what makes you happy. Then put it on your bathroom mirror, so you can see it every day.

Then you can list goals for your future.

Lose stinking thinking. Control what you can and endure what you must.

Sounds like you need to plant a tree. Grumichama sounds like an interesting fruit.

I will start by how's your little one? Maybe look at the local school, if any around you have kids going to the school ask how they're doing in class, counting and words. You should she what kids think about their teacher.

Fear.

When you're going through hell, remember.....keep going. It's the only way out. One of the best pieces of advise I ever got was "Show up. Try to do the next right thing. Let God take care of the rest". We're all scared sometimes and for good enough reason, life's a real motherfucker sometimes. But living in fear isn't living. What's the worst that can happen? Failure? Who the hell hasn't failed? So if everyone has failed then why fear that? Death? That's going to happen no matter what so......Walk through your fear and live your life as best you can.

I'm definitely not afraid of death, I spent a big bit of my life trying to get there, now I'm happy to wait my turn.

@MWhite Me too. I was miserable for many years. Wouldn't or maybe couldn't let myself be happy and at peace. It took a lot of work to get to where I am today and I couldn't be more grateful. We often carry things that don't belong to us and the weight of those things can be crushing to the soul. Today I try to own my part in things and do my best to let the rest go. I can't change the things I've done, nor can I change the wrongs done to me. But I can accept forgiveness(even when I have to forgive myself) and forgive others. I don't have to carry the past because I'm too busy chasing the future. Cliche' I know but ......it works.

I know what you mean, I was recently diagnosed with T1 Diabetes, almost went into a coma and died.

Sorry to hear that. . I've had several people in my life with T1D. It's a nasty bastard. Take care of yourself!!! And do what the doctors say!!!!!

oh dear, thank God you're still here to tell your story.

@Boardwine Thank you, and will do.

@SpikeTalon am glad you are a survivor, always knew you were 😉
