Leaving without a deal is as anti-democratic as not leaving at all.
We shouldn't have triggered article 50 without knowing exactly what type of Brexit we would have to negotiate. Theresa fucked this up right from the start.
We all have been betrayed.
Hello. I also blame David Cameron; he was triggered by Nigel Farage and called for the referendum. And I agree; the people in the UK have been completely ignored by the political class.
Being from a place where real information on Brexit is hard to come by, I feel mostly ignorant, so help me out on this one. It appears to me that the EU doesn't want the UK to leave and will do anything to stop it. By announcing that Britain will just leave on October 31, will that not force the EU to take the leave threat seriously and sit down and negotiate?
Hello ScottforKing.
Brexit is super-complicated! Some say the EU respects the result of the referendum (leave) and others say the EU is trying to stop Brexit. I suggest that you read this article - much better than me trying to explain. Lol [bbc.co.uk]
That pretty much sums it all up in just a few words.
