A GOOD GUY with a gun deters violence, that is one of the reasons cop have always open carried!!
I can give you many many examples of STUPID people reacting negatively to seeing a gun!!!
Blame our educational system, it creates Stupid people!!!

True, but it can be meant as attention that will deter criminals, whether it works that way or not.
