It may sound a bit heartless, but I think this ruling is a good thing. I think that all the people screaming about letting them all in should consider either sponsoring a person/family, or shutting up. There are quite a few private programs out there working to help immigrants find suitable jobs. Go volunteer or donate to one of them. I have hired/worked with quite a few immigrants, and some I still call friends. This isn't about whether they are good people. It's about ensuring the immigrants ARE given every opportunity to succeed. To do that, there NEEDS to be limits to what the US is expected to do.
