I thought the article brought up a valid question, but failed to leave evidence that there is a reason for concern if you aren't a wanted criminal or on a terrorist list. Also, it wasn't clear why this would be a good thing, helpful or necessary. If there's a concern about hackers getting hold of biometrics or powerful (governmental?) groups using the biometrics to enable discriminatory practices, then they should have enumerated the concerns. This would allow us to do our own personal analyses (including risk analysis, cost/benefits analysis, etc...)

While I support the particular use of the technology at border control, I am also unsure about its applications.

So where does that leave me ??

Do I support its use, or not? Tech can be so confusing, Even when the tech does not care.

It's not really the technology that's a problem, it's certain people and how they use said technology. I support the use of such tech as well, just so long as it is not used to exploit others.

@SpikeTalon Agreed, and I'm never sure about some of the privacy groups, the seem like nutters, But then again, tis might ne some pretty dangerous tech . Imagine if it existed in WW2 germany ??

@The_Q Some of them do appear to be paranoid, but most of them do make a legitimate case.

@SpikeTalon Kind of like GUNS, in the wrong hands bad deal!!!!!
I have guns, is my face going to be in some government file?????

@Serg97 You probably already are just as sure as I am too as a gun owner...
