I can't understand why people think if you have an immigration concern that you're inherently racist or xenophobic. It's simply not the case.

It's an effective way to immediately place any dissenters from independent and logical questioning on the narrative we are told we need to accept. from being taken seriously and seen as ''fringe'' instead of reasonable critical thinking..taking into account historical data, patterns, and realities of subject at hand.
That's what i have experienced, and observed too many times anyway.

If Islamic immigration isn't controlled, and soon, it will be too late to save a democracy that millions of our recent ancestors died for and to protect it against barbarians!

Don't be so ridiculous. It's absolutely nothing to do with religion nor race. I did't post this to open a debate for every race hater to comment on. It's a political post.

@Doofy25 I'm so sorry. I had no idea Islam is a race! The ideology of Islam and it's sharia laws which trumps any nations constitution is the problem not the race of it's adherents!

@angelo It's not a race, of course its not, and how about the millions of Muslims who convert to islam or who already reside in the country. Their recent ancestors died for the same thing. Not all muslims follow sharia law, in fact its a very small minority who do, so how can you judge an entire ideology on a very small part of it.

For the same reason, that as a researcher in Solar effects of satellites and our atmosphere, that If I raise concerns about the modeling being based only on Radiant energy, and not taking Solar forcing into account, then I get accused of being a Climate Change Denier, or better a Science Denier.

When some human beings have a closed mind, Any view that challenges that is the enemy, So they label it and then decry it, so they do not have to consider it. It's a behavior the is common in some religions.

Its funny that in NZ, we have never brought in so many immigrants, yet we are xenophobic about the Chinese, who contribute more than any of the others, and are only 3% of our total immigration. But our Muslim immigrants don't integrate, don't contribute, and are more demanding than any other group, But are now our highest imports...

But we are not permitted to notice this, because a Mosque was shot up by an Australian. and we should now all suffer White Man's Guilt.

Just the same human nature wearing different versions of the emperor's new clothes. Only the stupid cannot see how fine the clothes are - Yeah Right !!!

Well I don't know about any of that. My issue is with an influx of low skilled labour who self admittedly work for less than the local low skilled population. We have kids leaving school here who maybe aren't capable of attaining a decent education but at the same time can't afford to live on the national living wage. This wage has be calculated taking into account those low skilled migrants who are happy to home share in order to make ends meet. That lifestyle isn't acceptable for most here who have families to provide for. So we end up with no jobs no decent salary and then our own 'know it all' population say they're doing the jobs that our own youth and low skilled workers aren't prepared to do. When I left school those who didn't get an apprenticeship went to the local slaughter house which was shit work but at least they got paid semi decent for the soul destroying work they had to do. Now they refuse to work for a pittance in a job that's incredibly hard both physically and mentally.

@Doofy25 and this does not make you a bigot or anti immigration, or a xenophobe, It means you are thinking, But since your thinking does not match the thoughts of other, and since those others are uncomfortable, as you have challenged their "facts" (proven science) - its easier to label and defame you than to reason and risk seeing a different point of view, which I think goes back to your original question. - I hope. My examples were just examples - The why is that you are talking to those so afraid to be wrong that they dare not listen to any view but their own.

Those in leadership positions that started that lie were simply using the liberal left's most common tool: lie, lie and lie some more. If you say it often enough, it willl magically become true. Only their most ignorant followers believe it is true.

Eric Weinstein's podcast, The Portal, introduced me to the fact that immigration policy can and has been used to reduce wages in certain categories. In effect depriving citizens of their "asymmetric right" to access to the nation's labour market as a citizen.

Here in Canada we have a government that is very pro immigration. All commentary is that immigration is an economic boon. Suggestions to the contrary are racist or xenophobic.

I am slowly researching policies and trends to get a better understanding.

Here in Markham Ontario, a majority ethnic Chinese town, suggestions that we quarantine students of families who just flew back from China were greeted with cries of racism.

Seems that word gets bandied about rather loosely to serve political ends.

I've been saying the exact same thing for years. Britain have already started quarantining people arriving from china, and for britain to do that there's definitely a call. Britain usually doesn't do anything slightly controversial through fear of being branded racist or anti immigration.

If immigration is not the answer to our low birth rate, are you suggesting that AI and technology are the answers to paying taxes that support our government programs?
