Any respect I may have had for Eastwood is gone now.

What?! I didn't know or see this one coming. I think I will just act like a woman and tell myself it isn't true and believe it. I have too many of his cherished westerns.

Early Christians saw being an actor as a terrible, sinful profession. Some believed that the need of those people to constantly pretend to be someone else was a sign of demonic possession, and the better the person was at acting the worse the problem. It did not help the acting profession that they had a tendency, even from the earliest days, to live very promiscuous life styles. Sometimes modern Hollywood seems to prove that point over and over....

Why can't they stick to playing let's pretend and leave important stuff to qualified people! ? Your an actor which means you can't do anything for real

Hollywood is a woke propaganda machinery. The artistic cinematogeraphic side of it is long gone with the wind!!!
Academy awards are platform for ranting virtue signallers puntificating on what might make them look trendy

I was totally stunned to see Eastwood's endorsement of Bloomberg, however, the more I thought about his age (89) the more it comes down to his distaste for Trump's crass verbiage. Bloomberg was at one time a Republican and still to some extent retains a degree of class in his interactions. I suspect that, more than anything else, is the primary reason for the switch. Civility is sadly missed by our more senior members of society. Trump, on the other hand, uses coarseness to unnerve his opponents and has been extremely effective in bringing out unbridled responses from any who oppose him. Its all about technique and although I too find our dear leader offensive at times I can clearly see how well his approach works.

He must be getting senile in his old age. I always liked Eastwood but was damn disappointed when I found that out.

....lol

Just his career

that might be a bit of fake news - not sure. Either way I don't really care. I never jumped on the bandwagon extolling Dirty Harry's political acumen...same as I do with James Woods. Always glad to know when a hollywood type person seems to think independently and doesn't mind saying his piece but really nothing is lost if they decide to go the other way...nothing invested - nothing lost I say

Valid point.

It might be some kind of omission spin, it almost always is. The question is will they burn Bernie again. A Bloomberg/Clinton burn Bernie ticket would have a big impact, the corruption would be so obvious and galling it would likely reshape the Dems.

One thing about Trump he is good at drawing out what Hollywood really thinks. It is more about the agendas they support in which he is a roadblock. 4 more years.

I was disappointed to hear about this endorsement. Do you think age had anything to do with it?

Something smells....and it ain't doughnuts...

Senility maybe...
