It's a damn shame it took this pandemic and it's consequences to snap some EU nations to wake up and see that the EU is a dead horse with Brussels as a " one government" entity, leaving individual nation to fend for themselves in a crisis of this Magnitude.

Perceptions of power is power itself. The less we fear EU power the less real it becomes.

all I can say is that it is a very good thing that EU itself does not have a standing Military presence. If it did they would havd mobilized (soviet style) against Poland long before now and they certainly would have occupied Great Britain once the call for Brexit began to gain momentum.
