Who else thinks the stock market should shut down? How can you tell me I can't work but you can allow trading that IS ONLY GOING TO GO ONE WAY RIGHT NOW - D-O-W-N. SHUT IT DOWN.

The Market is like any other type of gambling, the HOUSE sets the rule and take their percentage!
Yes, you can make money in the Market, but there is always the chance you could lose it all, that is why it is GAMBLING!!!

The market provides information that informs businesses. When you invest or sell in the market you are communicating where you think the future is regarding that company. 'They' is you if you invest in the market.
Even during this time, the market is filled with opportunities (communication systems, software, hospital construction, medical research, etc...) and some companies will require long term corrections (Theaters, sports tickets, airlines, etc...).
