Veteran Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid praised President Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic over the Wuhan coronavirus in a Daily Beast interview published Wednesday while promoting the launch of his new podcast “The Dennissance.”
“I think Trump, no matter what anybody thinks of him, is doing a good job at trying to get these states – and all of the American people – what they need, and also trying to hold our economy together and be prepared for when this is all over,” Quaid told the Daily Beast when pressed on the federal government failing to provide states with the amount of supplies requested.
Leave it to an older Hollywood star to have the common sense, the younger ones certainly aren't that reasonable.

There were going to be deaths regardless, and there would have been far more deaths had Trump not acted when he did. Ultimately, it is China that needs to answer for all of this chaos, as new evidence coming out indicates their government knew how bad things really were and tried to keep it under wraps.

@SpikeTalon I share your suspicion of China, but that does not whitewash the Trump Tribe. Look at Japan. Korea had the first dead on the very same day as the US. Compare what happened since. You write "there were going to be deaths regardless" as if 10,000, 30,000 or 100,000 makes no difference to you? And there would have been far less had Trump acted in February instead of publicly denying the danger.

I have to agree. So many of the elites are trying desperately to make themselves relevant. Old, washed-up, has-beens have been making loud political statements against the current president with little to no knowledge of the actual facts. If it doesn't fit into their rhetoric, it must be Trump's fault. But, as seen here, there are still those whose name recognition hasn't faded away who stand behind our president. He's doing a great job considering what and who has worked against his administration from before he became president. They left is and will always be more concerned about power than the American people. God bless, Dennis Quaid for speaking up and God bless President Trump for keeping his campaign promises. That in itself must really piss off those with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The President just like many executives in the United States Republican and Democrat are doing their best to combat this virus. Enough with the leftist Social Justice pandering to tribalism and partisanship right now, at this moment - we are all Americans.
