I never imagined I would live in times when a simple hug is both a crime and an act of rebellion.

It's not a criminal act to hug someone unless the hug is unwanted.

It may be against the policies of the corporate criminal organization that is using violence to back up their policies against non-assets (you are a corporate asset if your birth was registered).

Your only out is the fact that your conscription was executed via fraud and therefore null and void under common law concepts. Law of the land. Unfortunately, corporations (our justice system is a corporation) does not operate under common law but rather under mercantile law (law of the sea) where a guiding principle is 'Caveat Emptor' or buyer beware. Fraud is expected.

As for a hug being an act of rebellion, that indites the motivation which cannot be a crime. Common Law requires a victim and you cannot be a victim of motivation - only of the actions that result. A Hug can be rebellious without being criminal if the recipient is willing and the perpetrator so inclined.

But, care is needed. You can be right and you can be dead right. But legally, it is your risk and therefore, your decision.

did you not notice that in very recent years people have been arrested and charged with a crime for giving out copies of the US Constitution in public and on college campuses? I might also point out that Christian based street preachers have been arrested or at leased harassed. So why should you be surprised by the criminalization of hugging another human being...just food for thought.

Because he is Australian. Unlike the UK and the US we still resemble a free state. Well, that was until now.

Interesting. Please share? Is hugging a crime in Australia now?

Unless the person you hug lives in the same household as you, you are committing a crime by hugging them; you must maintain distance of 1.5m to all people apart from those who live with you. Penalties from state to state range from 1000 to 1690 AUD, although I am not aware of anyone being actually fined for hugging (people were fined for driving around without a valid excuse etc)

Hello Anthropoi. Ah, you're talking about the lockdown and social-distancing in your country. We have similar conditions in the UK at the moment.
So, who is it you would like to hug so desperately outside your household?

@Naomi Everyone.

@Anthropoi Like everyone wants to give you a hug, too? Just joking. Lo

@Anthropoi I thought the hugging everyone was a NSW thing.
