Not that I myself, am that smart.The article by Dawkins was very well written, it was nice to read. My personal opinion is that he has honed the skills necessary to live a more than comfortable life in the western civilized society of today. Knowing what he knows today how well would he survive thrown into the midst of a village in the jungles of Africa or the the rainforests of Brazil. The natives will have honed the skills necessary to live a comfortable life but it would be awhile before he felt comfortable. He would need the help of the natives to survive but would they tolerate his condescension of their way of life.

I don't think Dawkins is Newton level genius but from the way he talks you would think he was.
Newton's strange and over the top religiosity doesn't seem to have interfered with his scientific work. I'm not sure you can say the same about Dawkins and the cult of determinism or the Culte de la Raison as practiced during the French revolution. Being intelligent doesn't protect you from a lot of meme infections.
