Yup. I worked at CNN from 1983 - 1998. And it's a totally different animal than it was then. I was proud to work there almost until the end. Now I don't mention it except as to put my judgement of the cess pool it's become into context. I was inside the machine. I knew the players. Some of them still have my respect but they left CNN as well, which is why I respect them. The ones who remain are the worst kind of backstabbing sludge and that's just in operations. Producers are a whole other level of filthy animal.
