The economic system has evolved into a set of rules (man made rules) that advantage those who make those rules. That's not necessarily a bad thing. People getting rich through innovation and productivity improves the world.
Another way to become rich is to use these evolved rules to squeeze the poor to advantage the rich. No longer necessary and a bad thing.
A living wage for those at the bottom should be the target. Life long free money is also bad but that person serving you at the burger king should be able to go home kick off their shoes and have a beer enjoying life.
This economic system is still evolving and there are some very clever people out there so fix it you geniuses. These are not like the law of gravity. People made them and people can change them.
