Australia had a terrible mass shooting. The government of the time took this as an opportunity to disarm the nation. The law abiding citizens gave up their guns.
The criminals did not.
The shooter got the guns because the law was not followed. These guns were illegal.
The shooting had nothing to do with legal gun owners, yet they were penalized.
The logic is faulty unless the point is the disarmament of the people.
Makes for a much easier way to control the masses if they can not defend themselves.
I applaud the Asian community, at least people in America are allowed to defend themselves.
