Level 9

Criminals ARE at least "rational enough" to be held criminally responsible for their behavior. They (and greater society really) deserve to be put on trial and punished to the fullest extent the law allows for whatever crime has been committed.

Yes - society deserves that and demands it!

If repeat offenders well dealt with properly in the first place, perhaps the world would be a much better place than what it is today!

Accurate. As a teacher, most discipline problems was with the same cohort of students repeat-offending. 1) Boredom 2) Frustration 3) Upbringing 4) Environmental were big factors.
