Do we really want a universal income and Medicare for all?
I see a number of people here supporting Yang for President and these are 2 of his issues. Do we want to take even more money from our workers in order to give it to others as a “salary”? Why work, innovate and struggle? When is enough taxation enough? Medicare is rife with fraud and is projected to go broke in the not too distant future. Who the hell wants that for all of us? I honestly don’t get it. Help me to understand what I’m missing here.

Medicare for all is just a smoke screen for SOCIALISM. The citizens of this Republic would become nothing more than shackled slaves to the state. The state would own everything because the taxes would be so high no one could afford a business. You would work for the State, live in state housing, eat state food, and when you could no longer be of value you would be discarded. SOCIALISM 101.

You're not missing anything there. A universal basic income would be a poor idea, more focus should be dedicated in creating new jobs. Medicare for all sounds like a scam to me, how would something like that be funded (we know the answer to that of course)?

You want government to "create new jobs"? How does government do that?
@dmatic by unleashing industry. Trump did that by undoing the Obama regulations which were strangling our economy. Now we have growth, unemployment at its lowest point since they started measuring it and a happy stock market. Govt. got out of the way of the real job creators.
