The carnage on our highways exceeds any other mode of transportation. In no other mode would we tolerate 100-plus fatalities each and every day. By the end of today, a hundred more people will have died on our highways and thousands more will have suffered life-altering injuries including severe burns, amputations and so forth which we do not want to minimize. We think it's high time that we started to take our driving a bit more seriously than what it is. -Bruce Landsberg, National Transportation Safety Board, March 2022

So we should go back to horse drawn carriages? Or maybe just put speed humps on every road 🤔
There's also a high number of industrial accidents around the world. Should we ban all industry?

Solution. Remote driving control and speed limits below 30 MPH for anything else. Whew! Saving the human race with technology and legislative human restraints one regulation at a time
