I give your comment the thumbs up because I agree with your sentiment but I always cringe with the use of the word "nicer" in this context.
It should be "more deserving"...It could not have happened to a more deserving ...
@iThink Its partly a colloquial expression that means the opposite of what it says; sarcasm.
@TimTuolomne if you say so - LOL - I'll bet you also say "I could care less" when its supposed to be "I couldn't care less..." hahahaha...
