Whether or not people were locked down, the virus spread at roughly the same rate. The professionals said the virus had a two month head start, with free movement between Wuhan and the US. So it was probably spread then, and the unusually long incubation period of the virus make it appear roughly two weeks later, for anyone exposed. So connecting an event yesterday with coronavirus tomorrow is not really reasonable.
