Hunting season is basically over until early fall ...
Not to mention simply shooting most game is the beginning of the process.
Except stuff like rabbits and squirrels ... I don’t think they have a “season” as a kid I shot them pretty much all year ... my girlfriend’s mom took everything I could bring her and taught me how to prepare a lot of it.
