Why would you want to stop it? The sooner it sweeps through the sooner it is over. The only argument was that it might overwhelm the system if it happened too quickly so we had to Lockdown to "flatten the curve" so that when grandma had a heart attack there was a bed at the hospital.

That turned out to be a big mistake; some would call it an intentional mistake to hurt Trump, aka a hoax.

I don't believe it. It would be like declaring victory over the common cold.

That doesn't mean that they have not done better than the U.S. it just means that it only takes one new infection for it to spread. There are simply to many people who are asymptomatic but who can infect others for contact tracing to be foolproof.

You are probably right. I don't think they expect contact tracing to be foolproof. Only good enough to keep the virus from spreading too fast.
