don't care - I don't watch football. ever. Not even when the "home team" is in a winning cycle. (I live in the Kansas City area). Can't name anyone on the Chiefs team except the quarterback and it usually takes a few moments before I can say his name - have to think a moment first...oh yeah..Marones mahomes...something like that. Football and Basketball from the tykes leagues all the way up to major leagues is obviously overpopulated with personalities that would almost certainly be in prison if not for their prowess on the playing fields. Furthermore, many of them, once their careers are over find themselves indigent, addicted, angry...pretty much where they would have been all along - again - if not for their prowess on the playing fields.
I lost my taste for Football way back when Ray Lewis got away with murdering two men (White men interestingly enough) by slashing their throats with a knife...a knife! Then Ray Lewis goes on to have and to enjoy the adoration, the accolades of a football celebrity. Hall of fame? I think so. Gigs on ESPN or other sport programming panels etc. A cold blooded murderer he is! - and here's the kicker...he isn't the only one.
Fuck major league sports - especially NFL and NBA.
