Does anyone else find it highly suspect the way MSM have ubiquitously adopted the same phrases when referring to controversy over the U.S. election? They're all repeating this phrase in particular; "baseless accusations of election fraud". If it's so baseless, why are so many people making such similar claims, and why do you feel the need to brainwash the masses with such mantras?

Have you ever noticed that when leftists can't answer a question or they get caught out, they just start chanting their slogans repetitively?
I would say the media is trying to enforce a narrative rather than report and let consumers decide. If you look at any authoritarian country, the media opperates as the propaganda wing of the government. You'll see the same repetition and one ideology narrative being peddled as 'objective truth'. The nazis did it, the soviets did it, any country rife with corruption does it, and any country with a small number of people controlling all the media do it too...

How many times can the claims of people who say they have witnessed voter fraud in a signed affidavit be brought before the court and rejected because of no other evidence to support the claim. I claim I saw Marry Poppins flying over our house without an umbrella and I'll sign a sworn statement to prove it. (I doubt if I'll get many backers on that one.) All lack of evidence points to the brainwashing of those insisting Trump won.

I've accepted the Biden win, as his presidency is inevitable at this point. My issue was the mainstream narrative, apparently operating with an imperative to reinforce the outcome by constantly reiterating the same rhetoric over and over. Obviously some people had cause to question the results in some areas, and if all of that came to light, I couldn't say how things would play out. Calling them 'baseless accusations' isn't news; that's an obvious attempt to poison the well by effectively telling their readers how they should think about things.

@Satch And the Trump campaign is not reiterating the same rhetoric over and over? If no evidence is provided to support the accusations then they are baseless. That is what happened when the accusations were presented in court. Isn't the Trump campaign poisoning the well by telling its supporters how to think? That is how the Trump administration has been conducting business since day 1. As soon as they start on some underhanded activity, the immediately accuse the Democrats of doing it and their lock-step followers take it as gospel.

@Pand0ro Indeed both sides are guilty of propaganda, and Trump is a salesman after all. I just wish there were more balanced news sources, that simply report the facts, instead of being delivered with partisan rhetoric. Once upon a time, the news told us what's happening, and we decided how we felt about it. These days the news tells us how we should feel, and we have to figure out if it's true or not.

@Satch Agreed. We had news as a public service from the networks until the 70s. When satellite service came on line it overrode the monopoly the networks had. They needed to increase profits and required the news to become a profit center. A profit center has to grab eyeballs and unbiased news does not do that. So what we are left with is fluff, specious and lewd offerings that pander to peoples lowest values. I have yet to find any unbiased news source.

Twice is a coincidence, three times is a trend. I believe that fourteen or fifteen times should be a recount. Sure, there are always going to be people that see conspiracies (whether they exist or not) so you can always take one or two with a grain of salt. However, all the documents that have been signed (under penalty of perjury), all the interviews that have been done, all of them say basically the same thing.
The only thing that seems to me to be better coordinated than the "baseless accusations of election fraud" is.. well.. the people who committed this election fraud.
