Why do you think 'Fake News" is growing? It seems to be every week now. I am new here.
Good journalists like Bari Weiss are under attack in this country.
I don't think it's growing to be honest, I don't know many people that still get there news from tv or newspapers. They rely on influencing the culture and all the bullshit articles they put out are starting to backfire on them.
Journalists appear to have their own agendas these days (not all of them but more and more are), which eventually leads to skewed representation of facts and evidence. Additionally, I suspect advertising sponsors have a hand in that as well.
My concern isn't the bias that has been prevalent since the first attempts to communicate, as subjective interpretation is unavoidable at this time. Instead I am concerned about grand narratives being consciously/unconsciously spun to favor ideological perspectives that are not accurate with the reality. Take the Covington incident, Not only was it miss reported, it continues to be reported erroneously despite third party investigations and different angles showing entirely different results to that which has been spread in uniform by the ideologically possessed.
An important thing to look out for these days is emotional/russell conjugation, words like regime/government, terrorist/freedom fighter, snitch/whistle blower.
Be aware of synchronized narratives. Scripts which as this example demonstrates is fear mongering spread targeting fake news, hypocritically committing exactly what needs to be avoided:
And also of importance is false dilemma suggestion narrow solutions to broad subjects, such as the two party system.
