I know this is beating a dead horse, but I'm just still shocked by what's going on in this country. If a conservative gets accused of wrong-doing, with NO evidence whatsoever, the media, DEM politicians, activists, & even their own GOP colleagues will spew hatred, create protests, call them racists, call for investigations, charges, and resignations -- non-stop. Yet if a Democrat or liberal or minority gets accused of wrong-doing, the ACCUSER is called every name in the book -- racist, bigot, bully, privileged white man, liar. There may be tons of evidence, acknowledgements, video proofs, clear lies, even confessions to interviewers and police/FBI. There may be clear violations of the law & even treasonous behavior, yet the media & FBI says, "Let's not pre-judge now!" Pre-judge??!! The double standards and two-tiered laws for liberals vs conservatives has gotten out of control. But what can be done to save our freedom and BILL OF RIGHTS from being destroyed by Social (In)Justice?

Same here. I'm not even a political person but I'm fed up with the radical left. I'm here to do my duties as a minority woman to speak up and tell people I'm not oppressed.
People like us speaking up, for a start. The modern day political left is ruthless.

Yes we have to speak up otherwise the left would drive us to totalitarian socialism.
I'm reading the Jussie Smollett coverage and it's clearly double standards. I just wish the mainstream media had showed the same kind of leniency towards Kavanaugh--it's not just the democrats who deserve due process. The radical left social justice movement is social injustice.

I really do not pay attention to the mainstream media anymore. I would rather go to a forum such as this and have more meaningful conversation. Hopefully we can reset the tone at a grass-roots level.
@Peelsr I never bought into the left's identity politics but I used to only read the liberal mainstream like NYT, WaPo, CNN, BBC, etc. Last year's Kavanaugh hearing was the turning point for me. I realized how biased and misleading they are and they call Fox News fake news--Pot calls the kettle black. And to think I worried about free press when trump got elected--the free press has become fake press. I also don't do mainstream media anymore, just occasionally go there to check how biased they are in their reporting.
