In our two party system we have historically dealt with exclusive political adversity by retaliation, how does the right deal with this attack on conservative thought in a retaliatory manner? Both House and Senate refused to act when they held power beleiving that somehow the "nice guy" and "explain ourselves clearly" approach would win over moderate Americans. This turned into a "lamest duck" Congress scenario. In turn, the right handed the left a political victory in 2018. By spending no money, providing no response to all kinds of false and ridiculous criticism and hiding in a corner the right then also loaded the left up to continue their assault on conservatives....Where is the guts on the right? Where are the bullhorns, the new ideas and the entrepreneurs? It seems that many conservatives have just said we won't fight back on these false narratives, we won't sue in retaliation and we won't start our own late night TV or Cable News Channels. It seems folks are just hoping the onslaught will cease, but by doing so they are allowing the left to fully weaponize their narrative and to distribute it unopposed.

I contend that both sides of the political argument are in league with each in some way, and the politicians from both sides are way beyond being just a little corrupt. It is time for a third party, one in which would actually fight for the average citizen.

I agree with most of what you have said but please don't dismiss people on the right who are standing their ground.
One of them just got punched in the face in Berkeley yesterday I believe.
A bakery refused to back down from their refusal to make a cake for a gay wedding (odd that despite the number of bakeries who might have accepted the order, the couple chose instead to sue the one which would not.)
The young man in the Covington incident not only stood his ground but was also truthful and eloquent in his description of what DID happen.
And, is filing lawsuits against all the people who not only ran with a story that they did not bother to check out but did not apologize for their blatant bias and bullying tactics.

In 1994 republicans promised to hold votes on numerous popular topics that prior congresses refused to bring to a vote (like term limits). This "Contract with America" was followed by republicans taking over the house of reps for the first time in over a generation. Both partys' reluctance to deal with the border issue pushed Donald Trump into the White House. As for messaging, unless you do your own research you are only getting the left's message from the standard news outlets. It is not going unopposed
