I considered arguing that trying to move on with mental injury can still help but it would just program in bad habits harder. It would make the pit deeper and harder to escape.

Hum ... that looks like running in Boots ! 
I know ... Toe Tecs ... not really designed for running. Plus woollen socks ... Red in my case.
Mind you ... they kept my leg and foot together .... when the traveller was slipped late. 
Don't do dangerous jobs if your function has the word 'suicide' in the job description
