Not all people in the RAAF are Aviators (pilots)... Why don't they just call Pilots... Pilots...?

a member of the RAF below commissioned rank.
a member of the US air force of the lowest rank, below staff sergeant.

Just call people what they are and drop the stupid PC Wokeness.
