Yet another reason to either look into charter schools or homeschool your kids (assuming that is if you have any).

We homeschool and are very happy with the decision. It isn't always fun or easy, but we know it's the right choice for us.

I dunno how much my city's school system has changed. I'll probably home school my children, if I ever have children that is.

We have too many lawyers and yet not enough. Unless it distracts from another student's ability to learn or violates a pre-established dress code, the student is allowed to express their "Freedom of Speech" in what they wear. At least couch it as an argument about distracting other students. Not a valid claim in this case, but at least you tried.

They need to be sued and those responsible for that should be fired.
