When you think the socialist boogie man isn't scary enough so you throw in some Muslims for good measure ...
Is anyone buying the bullshit the U.S. govt is putting out to cover for the coup they're perpetrating on behalf of oil oligarchs ???

Are you denying that the people of Venezuela are in dire straits? Is all of the news about the blackouts, the food shortages, the people leaving the country fabricated?

No, I'm not denying that at all ... It's a fact ... I'm saying the crisis is manufactured & exacerbated by the U.S.

The U.S. lobbied the Saudis to boost production & tank the price of oil ...

It promptly issued sanctions the withheld food , medicine , & financial assets ...

Juan Guiado was literally groomed for this at George Washington under a former IMF director & didn't move until he was told to by VP Pence ...

His associate , Yon Goicoechea, received $500,000 to fund destabilization groups in the form of the Milton Friedman prize from Cato Institute ...

And the blackouts ??? Well, recently released CIA documents show that Chile's power was sabotaged prior the installing Pinochet ...

You bring your BS here ...
Go ahead, we’ll let you ... Completely uncensored

Your stance seems to be that anyone who is into anything with a Profit in mind s evil ...
Your stance seems to be that “Big ...” is evil ...

Maybe if we lived in a vacuum your concern might be worth looking at.
However we don’t.
Perhaps things could be done in a “nicer” manner ... or perhaps we could simply step back and let China and Russia or Maduro or New Castro ... take over and ... trust ... THEM to be nicer.

Yeah ... that might work.

Thanks for the straw man ... And thanks for not wielding power over me you don't have ... LoL ...

Anyway , I have no problem with someone gaining profit honestly ... What I do have a problem with are regime change wars , installing puppets to do your bidding , & creating or exacerbating a crisis to exert your will ...

But, I'm glad you admit the whole thing is about extracting the wealth of Venezuela from the people of Venezuela ...

@BodhiJones777
Yup
Chuckle ...
It’s all Ok ... have a Coke and a Smile ...
As I said ... your idea is that “We” should step aside and ...
Leave things to the Loving Kindness of the Chinese and Russians ...
That will be such a much better outcome ...

@Bay0Wulf You'll have to explain to me why you think the U.S, has any right to insert itself into the affairs of a sovereign nation ...

Are you admitting this is not about socialism , not about a humanitarian crisis , & not about freedom & democracy ... It's about imperialism , resource control , & strategic global politics ...

Should we install puppets in every country that does business with China or Russia ???

We probably should since we know what's best for everyone , right ???

@Bay0Wulf Cool straw man to avoid the topic & cover for imperialism & regime change wars premised on lies though ... Bravo ...

@BodhiJones777
Ahhh ... no ...
If we leave others completely alone and to themselves, there are plenty of others who will step in and exert THEIR Will ... or philosophy.
Our getting involved is in OUR Best Interest AND Of Course, WE Believe that we offer a Better Option than those other guys do.

Are you really that dense?

@Bay0Wulf Oh , I get it ... I just stated exactly what your position is ... This isn't about the Venezuelan people ... This is about U.S. corporate interests & nationalistic beliefs to justify imperialism ... That's what happened in Iraq, Libya, Chile, Honduras, Guatemala , Argentina , & El Salvador ...

The US is well on its way to oil independence. I think the people of Venezuela are dying and something needs to change in order to save their lives. I don't think we're there for the oil. Things are changing on that front. See Forbes: "So the bottom line is that we aren't net exporters of crude oil, and we aren't energy independent. But, the U.S. has trended in that direction for over a decade. Regardless of whether it remains that way, this is undoubtedly a remarkable achievement. I know a lot of people -- including myself -- would have scoffed at such a prediction in 2005." [forbes.com]

The oil producing capability of the U.S. is irrelevant ... The money& wealth that can be extracted from Venezuela is what's relevant ... It's about wealth & the power that it holds ... If you're interested in saving lives , tell your reps to lobby for lifting sanctions & embargoes that prevent medicine, funds , & food from getting to the Venezuelan people ... I suggest taking a peek at the U.S.'s history of imperialism in Central & South America ... There's a pattern there ...

Guiado = Pinochet

@BodhiJones777 I'm pretty sure the wealth has been drained out of the country by now. I have no argument about US interference south of us. I am on board with that. Even if we lifted the oil embargo the money won't go to the people, it will go to the ruling class. I don't believe that's a solution,
