It wasn’t the gun manufacturer who did the dastardly deed. The people who knew the boy should never allowed him to have access to the gun. As usual people refuse to take responsibility for their inadequacy.

People are being very dramatic about this. It will be appealed, obviously.

This country and the court rulings are getting ludicrous, so if Remington can be held responsible for a shooting when are car makers going to be held responsible for cars being used in bank robberies or for being involved in fatal accidents? You can NOT be held responsible for how something you sell is used, that is why we have laws, people are expected to obey them, if they don't it is NOT the responsibility of the person who makes, or sells the gun, or product used to kill someone. What next , kitchen knife makers getting sued because someone stabs and kills their wife or husband with a kitchen knife? I blame the stupid judges for allowing these things to even move forwards, they should throw them out of court as frivolous suits!

To me it would needs to be proven that "Sandy Hook" actually happened before any suit would go forward.

Sue every utensil manufacturer for obesity. Sue every car maker over car deaths. Sue everyone over everything.

By this logic, sue every judge who has released someone who then commits a new crime. They can't hide behind sovereign immunity if they take that immunity of federal law away from the gun manufacturers.

Judges, keep pushing. That civility you keep counting on is going to disappear, and you only have yourselves to blame. Not me, I'm going to be too busy living a quiet life to do harm, but someone will snap, and you will be to blame, not them.

I read about this earlier and my first thought was of AOC and her lunatic statement in Congress the other day. Oh, you probably need to know the particular statement I'm referring too.? She implied that Wells Fargo should be held responsible for any problem that might occur with the Dakota pipeline because they backed the funding on the project. Basically the same idea here as far as I can tell and the fact that the courts said they can proceed with this action is beyond disturbing!

The scary part is that she has many supporters

@Clammypollack Indeed!

@Think Ah, you beat me, I was going to send you some coins. Thank you, much appreciated, I will pay it forward.

@SpikeTalon You are welcome! You add great content and your presence is much appreciated!

AOC also blamed them for funding the caging of young children, she is a total wacko and the fact she even got elected is scary. Almost every time she opens her mouth she says something even more stupid than her last comment, god help us if she gets many more followers in the Democrat party.

Ever car and knife company better get ready, what standard are we setting.

3

If this type of action is allowed Jack Daniels could be sued for unwanted children .. Ford sued for car accidents due to driver error.

What's disturbing is that those things can absolutely be pursued.

@Think yes it is frightening and we can thank the PC correct liberal judges in our courts, until we replace them with judges with common sense things will only get worse. Judges should use some sense and just throw things out of court if they are not based on law, they allow far too many new cases to be heard that have no merit under previous law.

Total bullshit!
