What’s an unconscious bias that you personally have, and how do you attempt to overcome it when reasoning and formulating ideas?

That all Muslims are terrorists, I use what the media gives us (Although I know most of it to be propaganda) to justify that belief. I tell myself that all Muslims follow the Koran to the letter so therefore as an infidel I must die. I try not to let my fear overtake the rational but with this particular thought pattern I don't seem to be able to escape

Very well, I have heard of that perception, however I have never been subjected to it myself, having thorough experience with moderate Muslims during my college years. You’d be surprised to see how they react to the news of an attack, how disdainfully they regard those who are at the top of these terrorist organizations, and how self-sacrificing they are when it comes to helping anyone they see as innocent or vulnerable within their sphere of interaction. They are however very distrusting of Westermers as a rule, so getting to the point in the interaction where you can see this stuff takes some time. If you have any questions or issues on it I’m fairly good at explaining the position of the moderates, though I will not claim to speak for them.

At times when I hear the word liberal, I'm too quick to associate that with someone who is a sjw, and that wouldn't necessarily be true. I've learned to question things more before jumping to conclusions.

Thanks for the input, now that I think about it I often find myself doing the same.
