Then knives (like London is trying to do), then eventually you will have your hands cut off because they are the real problem, without hands to can’t hold a weapon. Oh yeah, I forgot about prosthetics!
You can’t legislate a society to be free of evil or insane people, but you can force otherwise peaceful and normal people to revolt by constantly attacking the law abiding citizens for the actions of the criminals.

So we are forced to believe that future monsters won't be able to enact mass murder because they won't be legally allowed to own an AR-15, "the gun of choice for the world's mass killers."
"He said this measure would enable New Zealand to become a safer place." Yeah, I trust this guy with keeping me safe.
