Surprised and disappointed that Whitcoulls bookstores in New Zealand have removed Dr Peterson’s book. Fortunately their relevance as a book seller is declining, however it is a worrying trend. Where is this all heading?
There is a time and place for everything
And I fear the time for physical books is waning
Most don't read much in this age of video everywhere - you can watch them anywhere with a smart phone
And there's the physical downside. I like physical books but if you buy too many bookshelves end up dominating every room
On the plus size my phone & tablet both have 200 plus books on them each, stored in a tiny chip the size of a thumbnail (SD card), and it's not nearly ¼ full
Just really don't think this is the time for bookstores to go into the book banning business
This is heading to a place where those on the left will silence any one of contrary thought. We see it on Facebook, Twitter and we even see it with Google searches. They want to silence us, marginalized us and just make us go away. They don’t have the ability to debate us so this is what they resort to
