I don't believe this to be anything close to Black Privilege. We are talking about a hoaks pulled in a city which has really not been very friendly to those on the low economical scale of the black community. High death rates, high crime rates, high murder rates and high jail rates per the city stats. In Congress we have a Black" Caucus. On TV we have BET (black entertainment) and there are more social and community "black" identity programs and organizations. If it isn't privilege, it certainly seems racist. The isolationist mindset is adversarial and bound to foster resentment rather than harmony. I believe that it's not necessarily "black" privilege that's involved here but more a case of liberal celebrity privilege, the Golden rule write large.
