Would we even care or would we just follow along like we always do. Now I LOVE tech but when I look around there are people just intelligent enough to stay glued to a cell phone. I love and respect the amazing individuals that make our lives easier and more interesting, but as a tool, augmentation to intelligence curiosity and insight. May be we need AI? Just a thought!

I think it would be too late before we could do anything about it. AI has the potential to exponentially increase its intelligence so that within a week it could be so intelligence that we wouldn't even have a means of measuring it . At least that was one theory I heard.

AI will probably become a problem when it’s too late, it will be so ingrained in our culture by the time it becomes a problem, and people will fear pulling the plug at the threshold. Like if someone said give up your cellphone, most of us wouldn’t do it

When you don't have to turn off your computer or cell phone to get the programs to work. Or uninstall and reinstall the apps. Are the AI going to reboot after an update? If yes, they are going to have to find a safe place to do that -- going down the road bumper-to-bumper without stop signs and red lights would be a convenient time, wouldn't it?

When the AI becomes self aware and changes its name to SKYNET
