I believe all people who are elected should serve their full term until removed from their position by THEIR voters for cause. All this "stepping down" for any reason (i.e. a 30-year-old offensive yearbook photo comes to light and there are calls to "step down" ) seems a breach of the trust their voters gave them. If their voters want to, they can do a recall or press charges for criminal behavior. However, Schiff should have Federal criminal charges pressed by the committee due to his dishonoring of his position by breaking Federal laws while serving on the House Intelligence Committee, then his district's voters may recall him if they desire. Does this sound rational?.

I think he should resign from Congress. But at the very least, if he only resigns from Congress, there's still a chance he'll go down the drain with the rest of the swamp.

Yes
and many other other criminal politicians deeply entrenched in this coup.

From his congressional seat or his committee chairmanship? Both?

I made a poll but I guess it didn't show. I just edited to make one.

The whole federal organized crime syndicate should resign. Along with State governments as well. Local jurisdiction is all that should be allowed. But I'm not real confident "We The Sheeple" could handle that.

I would prefer that ALL the criminal politicians in DC and around the globe be indited and held at GITMO until brought before a Military Tribunal tried for High Treason found guilty, and HUNG by the NECK until DEAD!! Tired of watching them slip away from justice and continue robbing American tax payers blind!!

He lied and used his position on the Committee of Intelligence to give weight to his misinformation. As a Republican I'm tempted to suggest that he should continue to debase the Democrats (not sure how much lower they can go). As an American, I want to see him removed from the Intelligence Committee. As for him leaving elected office, that's between him and California.

No - not because I agree with him, but b/c I agree that we should allow all these Washington shit heads to throw poop at each other. I would hate to go after him, then in 2-5-10 years, have someone on the other side attacked for trying to expose shittyness in Washington. The whole system is corrupt, and while I don't put him up on a pedestal, I don't want to open a pandora's box on future legitimate whistle blowers - which I think this might do.

YES, and that is just the start
