Or do you want to change their minds, help them in the long run abd perhaps even tip the majority towards conservatism? You shoulf probably go with "i tried to warn you".

When those that both have no experience of running a business and/or has a mission to help an "Oppressed" group, like laborers that make minimum wage it's all with a blind eye to reality
The consequences of forcing businesses to pay more in wages results in workers out of work and businesses going out of business
Might as well get stoned on hallucinogens so at least there would be something to blame the Epic failures on

I've lived through the stupidity and Hell it produced. New baby and they threw this steaming pile on me. Not sure I can put words to my visceral reaction. I jump to the unfair conclusion they don't care about the pain they cause.

Well, the politicians don't. They never have to face the costs of their knowing all along how it would play out but do it anyways just to flex political muscle. They won't get voted out of office over it.
Unfortunately those same unemployed by the high minimum wage will continue to vote for those politicians that caused them to be unemployed ?
